Le Puit

Beautifully restored over the last 10 years by it's French owners, whose father comes from the village, Le Puit offers spacious accommodation over two floors in the heart of the village. With a large outdoor balcony for enjoying the stunning views. Over the valley while enjoying aperitifs and summer barbeques, there is also a garden below for kids (both young and old!) to let off steam. With 4 good sized bedrooms, the house comfortably accommodates up to 8 people.



The house is entered from the street and the front door leads into the small entrance hall with the large, well equipped kitchen to your right, main stairs leading up to the bedrooms in front of you, and toilet to your left. The rest of this floor is taken up with the spacious L-shaped living and dining room, running the full width of the house. Comfortably furnished with sofa and armchairs in front of the open fire place, dining table seating up to 8 people, and many personal touches such as the paintings on the wall by the owners grandfather, an accomplished artist. You will find books and games- though mostly in French!- and lots of information on Curemonte and her surroundings. A glass door leads from the dining area to the large decked balcony, with Weber barbeque, table and chairs, as well as deck chairs. Steps lead down from the balcony to the garden below.

The first floor offers 4 bedrooms, all recently decorated in fresh, light colours. Two bedrooms have double beds (one with a seperate single bed) and two have twin beds, ample space to accomodate 8 people. The bathroom is equipped with large basin, shower and toilet.

The house is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, expresso coffee maker, but please note there is no television!
